Dr. Rhys Taylor, PhD

Dr. Rhys Taylor is Director and Head of Peptide Discovery at WuXi AppTec where he leads peptide discovery activities across the United States, Europe, and China. His team supports drug discovery programs using mRNA display, phage display, peptide DNA-encoded libraries (DEL), and peptide chemistry. He completed his PhD at Kyoto University and conducted his postdoctoral research with Professor Hiro Suga at the University of Tokyo, focusing on genetic code reprogramming and macrocyclic peptide discovery.
